Illusions

March, 2013

The subject of my photography pilgrimage in 2012, was Iceland, a country so distant from the Indian imagination that there doesn’t seem to be anything further in this world. The island’s remoteness is probably its best- known geographical attribute; Iceland lies on the crossroads of the North Atlantic and Arctic oceans, the main island metastasizing on the map like a giant amoeba, located both on the Icelandic hotspot and the mid-Atlantic ridge.
